Growing a side hustle into a business often means that at the start of our journey, we are bootstrapping. Every penny counts and so if you can find a tool that works well and does the job, all the better.

Sure, you may want to upgrade later to the pro version when you have more income, but at the start the free version will do very nicely, thank you.

These six tools have all been pivotal in helping me to earn an income online. I’m sharing them today as some may be valuable to you, too.

Notion

I love productivity tools, to-do lists and organization apps, and I have been through quite a few of them. I also can’t promise that I won’t jump on the bandwagon of something new. However, the best I have found so far is Notion.

The reason?

You can use it in so many ways. In fact, I now use it to store nearly all my data for my business, including my to-do calendar, content ideas, notes on books I’ve read, quotes I want to turn into social media posts, etc.
